Our major goal is to fight against the cruel mistreatment of the stray animals in our town in particular, and throughout Turkey in general. One of the main objectives include providing the stray animals in the town with a humane way of living standards, basically including the necessary sustenance, vaccination, sterilization and medical treatment.

Occasionally, ASKOD schedules local radio and newspaper interviews to educate and inform the town people, which we believe is the best way to instantly transmit the critical massages to the public. Also face to face contact and successive negotiation help us spread our notices relatively easily.

The main goals to be achieved by ASKOD includes:

1) Supporting the renovation of the Municipality shelter which still lacks even a clinic,kitchen and a quarantine room.
2) Providing the necessary sustenance for the cats and dogs (food, accomodation, medical treatment)
3) Maintaining a spaying/neutering/vaccination program in the area.
